Next month, Californians will be seeing a lot of Rider Sandals. Thanks to a Rider pop-up store and beach shack that are making their way to beaches up and down the state’s coast, the Brazilian footwear brand continues its mission to inspire people with a passion for adventure.

“We are committed to promoting the active, healthy, positive lifestyle that defines Rider”

Rider’s beach program, branded as Rider Weekends, kicks off July 11th – 12th at East Beach, next to the Santa Barbara pier. Throughout the month, the beach shack and mobile store will travel down the coast each weekend, stopping at Malibu Pier, Huntington Beach and Hermosa Beach. The journey will end with a bang at the Rider Beach House in Santa Monica the weekend of July 31st – August 2nd, where guests will have an all-inclusive Brazil and Rider experience.

The traveling Rider pop-up store will be a one-of-a-kind exhibit, featuring a branded wooden boat converted into a retail and social media experience where visitors can see and shop Rider’s latest and most popular styles. The Rider Beach Shack will offer beach-goers a place to steal some shade, cool down, charge their phone and grab refreshments out of the summer sun.

The Rider Beach House, based in Santa Monica, will bring the Brazilian experience to California, with bands, DJs, food, art, workshops and sports. Beyond offering endless activities and attractions, the house will be a place of relaxation, good energy, breath-taking views and, of course, what Brazil is most known for: beautiful people!

“We are committed to promoting the active, healthy, positive lifestyle that defines Rider,” said Christina Barshel of Rider Sandals. “We are excited to offer these fun pop-up sanctuaries and shops along some of California’s best beaches to spread the vibe of fun, active energy to those who love the beach lifestyle as much as we do.”

Rider will soon be rolling out new styles from their 2016 line, which will include more lifestyle-focused designs for both men and women. In addition to being bright, colorful and fun, the new 2016 lifestyle sandals conform to feet to accommodate each individual’s natural gait, in keeping with the casual, comfortable designs Rider is known for. Rider sandals are built to last and are crafted in Brazil in some of the most eco-friendly manufacturing plants in the world.
