World-class, premium audio equipment manufacturer, Klipsch Audio, has created its first-ever marine speakers and amplification solutions that are exclusively offered on MasterCraft boats. Heralded in the music industry for its pioneering achievements and the power of its audio systems, new Klipsch Audio systems now create a heavy-hitting, customizable concert-style entertainment experience on a MasterCraft.

For the first time, Klipsch Audio brings over 70 years of expertise to the water to debut premium, custom engineered marine audio systems exclusively for MasterCraft. Working with Klipsch amplification systems, Klipsch speakers use less power while adding more volume with minimal distortion – even at peak levels. Beyond its sheer power (up to 120 dB), the new sound system is tuned for a rich, accurate sound across a broad frequency range. It doesn’t exaggerate any part of the music. The new Klipsch speakers are marine-specific – from controlled directivity to being completely water tight and protected from the elements.

MasterCraft partnered with Bongiovi Acoustics to implement its Digital Power Station™ (DSP) technology to customize the new Klipsch-powered system specifically into MasterCraft’s boats. The Bongiovi DSP contains a unique, patented digital audio signal processor that adjusts real time to music to ensure concert level sound – another first for the marine industry. The Bongiovi DSP module is tunable, changing the sound of the system depending on which software mode is selected by the driver. With three modes to choose from – drive, tow and chill – drivers can have customized sound to every MasterCraft boat while under operation.

 

MasterCraft’s new Klipsch Audio systems will remain an exclusive to the company for a period of five years through an agreement with ASA Electronics, a leading designer, manufacturer and distributor of mobile electronic products.

Nautique Announces New Innovative Processes

On May 11, Nautique hosted 50 members of the Manufacturers Association of Central Florida (MACF) to experience the recently expanded, state-of-the-art Nautique manufacturing facility and innovative processes.

Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin kicked-off the meeting by sharing the story of Correct Craft’s exciting growth and acquisitions. After the Correct Craft update Yeargin briefed the MACF members on his work with the U.S. Department of Commerce’s Manufacturing Council. The Council is comprised of about twenty-five business leaders who advise U.S. Secretary of Commerce Penny Pritzker and Yeargin serves as Co-Chair of the Council’s Trade and Tax Committee.

The MACF regularly visits the factories of its members throughout the year to promote local manufacturing.

Nautique, a recent “Florida Manufacturer of the Year” builds award-winning, industry-leading towboats at the recently expanded 270,000 sq. ft. facility in Orlando, FL. Members of the MACF were given an in depth tour of Nautique’s facility and operations including exclusive access to Nautique’s innovative methods from Product Design and Development to Production.

Correct Craft, NMMA to partner for National Conventions

On May 6th, Correct Craft CEO Bill Yeargin announced that Correct Craft will be partnering with the National Marine Manufacturers Association (NMMA) to represent both the marine industry and Correct Craft at this summer’s Republican and Democratic National Conventions.

During the conventions, the Correct Craft team will share both the significant impact of the marine industry on the U.S. economy and the unique Correct Craft story. At both conventions the Correct Craft team will have at least one boat on display in-water for convention attendees and press to enjoy.

Exhibitor applications for boot 2017, 48th International Boat Show, are now available online at www.boat-duesseldorf.com. The deadline for reserving exhibit space at boot 2017 is June 30, 2016. The event will be held from January 21 – 29, 2017 at the fairgrounds in Düsseldorf, Germany.

“The next boot begins as soon as the last boot ends and we have started our planning for the 2017 event. OWC now offers the convenience of online booking for lessons, camps, and group events. Rod Tomlinson Leads Surf Expo’s Surf Category

Tomlinson is an avid surfer with more than 20 years of experience in the surf industry. He brings an ideal perspective and skillset to Surf Expo, having worked in retail, marketing and sales in both manufacturing and tradeshow sectors for companies such as Fox Head, Rhythm, Firewire Surfboards and Rip Curl.

Tomlinson was most recently a sales executive for Interbike, the largest bicycle trade event in North America, also owned and operated by Emerald Expositions.
